Jeep models at a glance – series, codes and model years

Jeep series are identified by short codes – YJ, TJ, XJ, ZJ and so on. Which code belongs to which model year determines which part fits. This overview maps every series from the Willys MB to the current Wrangler JL.

This page is deliberately laid out as a technical reference. How the brand developed – from the Willys MB through CJ and Cherokee to today's series – is covered on our page The history of Jeep.
