Jeep Transmission Specification Chart

Which manual transmission is in my Jeep?

CJ5 and CJ7 from 1976 to 1979 use the T-150 three-speed, the CJ models of the 1980s the SR-4, T-4, T-5 or T176/T177. In the Wrangler YJ and TJ and the Cherokee XJ, four-cylinder engines run the AX5 and six-cylinder engines the AX15 from 1989 to 2002; late TJ models use the NV1500 or NV3550. The chart below lists every transmission with year, vehicle and the gear ratios of all speeds.
