Grand Cherokee WJ | WG 99-04

From 1999 onwards, the almost completely redesigned Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ was produced. It is characterized by its lower weight and better steering properties than its predecessor, the Grand Cherokee ZJ, as the structure has been significantly stiffened.
The two heavy overhead valve (OHV) VR8 engines were replaced by a single aluminum overhead camshaft (OHC) engine. The engine power of the petrol engines was between 190 and 269 hp, the diesel models still managed 140 and 163 hp.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ WG was manufactured in various models. So there was Sport - over Laredo model - with special interior, Special Edition - initially Limited - then with higher quality interior and loading area, the Columbia Edition, the limited Vision version - based on Overland and finally the Final Edition with aluminum trim, navigation system, parking assistant, auxiliary heater and co.
