The Jeep Gladiator JT, a mid-size pickup truck, is based on the platform of the Jeep Wrangler off-road vehicle. The vehicle was introduced in 2018 and went on sale the following year. The Jeep Gladiator JT is the first pickup after the Comanche series in 1992. The interior of the Jeep Gladiator is similar to the style elements of the Jeep Wrangler JL. The roof options are also the same as the Wrangler, so there are the options of a Sun-Rider hood made of vinyl, a Sun-Rider hood made of black fabric or even a Freedom-Tops hardtop.
The vehicle's most common engine option is the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 petrol engine, equipped with variable valve timing.
The Gladiator JT is available in the special Sport, Sport S, Overland or Rubicon models. In the case of the Jeep Wrangler, the luxury variant was called Sahara, while in this vehicle the variant is known as Overland.
