It is required when Bendix-type drive shafts are replaced with Spicer axles.
Furthermore, it is required for axle variants where fastening is done using a retaining ring.
instead of a threaded nut.
Please note:
Only suitable for vehicles with Dana 25 front axle
with Rzeppa or Spicer thru-axles
If your axle shaft has a threaded end for a nut,
Use the spindle bushing with part number: A853
The bushing is mounted in the steering knuckle.
and serves as a precise sliding bearing and guide for the stub axle.
