Design & Materials
This vehicle-specific design corresponds to the form, fit and function of OE brake discs
and offers ultimate strength and performance.
The Specialty brake discs are made of an improved iron material and offer the following properties:
• Maximum noise cancellation
• Long, thick carbon fibers to absorb noise
• Higher thermal conductivity to keep the brakes cool, quiet and vibration-free
The cooling fins of the Specialty brake discs meet the OE specifications and ensure the following:
• Optimal cooling
• Reduced fading
Coating:
Depending on the application, the brake discs are either completely coated with a grey Fusion 4.0 ™
or a black, melt-coated topcoat to protect against rust.
These brake rotors meet the SAE standard for tensile strength and provide structural integrity and maximum service life.
A machined surface minimizes noise and improves response for smoother stops.
Side impact and thickness variation
The brake discs have a lateral runout of 0.002 inches or less
and a minimum thickness variation of less than 0.0004 inches.
This ensures:
• Less pedal pulsation
• Less braking noise
• An extended service life
