Jeep Wrangler YJ spare parts

The Jeep Wrangler YJ was the direct successor of the Jeep CJ series and went into production in 1987. With its square lamps, the Jeep Wrangler YJ is easily distinguished from the CJ series. On the other hand, the leaf-sprung axles are the same.
More varied was the installation of different engines, so the Jeep Wrangler was available with a 2.5 litre in-line four cylinder with 88 kW and first with a 4.2 litre in-line six cylinder with carburettor 84 kW. In 1991 the 4.2 litre engine was replaced by a 4.0 litre engine with 135 kW and the 2.5 litre version by a modification with injection system. As a result, the 4.0-liter engine with 178 hp was used in the Jeep Wrangler YJ and Jeep Cherokee XJ.  The brake system remained the same for the 2.5, 4.0 and 4.2 versions.
