Jeep Cherokee XJ spare parts

For America, the Jeep Cherokee XJ was considered rather small for the country, and with its appropriate equipment, it fit into Europe. The vehicle, which was introduced in 1984, soon found a lot of joy among Jeep fans in Europe and was bought a lot, especially in the early 1990s. While the first models were equipped with a 2.8-litre engine from Chevrolet or a 2.5-litre engine from AMC, the engine was then replaced by a 4.0-litre six-cylinder from Jeep and was therefore considered a successful model. Very few models of the Jeep Cherokee XJ were available as diesel versions, first with a Renault engine and later with a more powerful engine from VM Motori. More driving comfort was offered by the larger model Grand Cherokee, which was offered with a V8 engine in the early 90s.
The second generation Jeep Cherokee XJ was built between 1997 and 2001. While the drive technology was adopted almost exactly the same, the design of the body and interior was made rounder, noise was optimized and driving comfort was improved. For the engine, the well-known four-cylinder 2.5-litre engine with 97 kW and the PowerTech six-cylinder were still available.
