The gear ensures reliable power transmission in second gear
and ensures quiet, precise and long-lasting operation of the T84 gearbox.
The gear of the 2nd gear is one of the most stressed components of the gearbox.
During operation, it is constantly subjected to high torques and shifting loads.
Worn tooth flanks, damaged synchronous gears or worn bearing surfaces
This can lead to shifting problems, transmission noises and increased wear of other transmission components.
During a complete gearbox overhaul, the gear should therefore be carefully inspected and replaced if necessary.
